Help with OEM (Delco) Radio

I had to disconnect the battery to clear some codes, but now my radio is stuck in the "Loc" mode. I've depressed the mute button on the steering wheel pad several times and it still wouldn't clear. I've remove the radio controls pad in the steering wheel and the radio itself to check all connections. Everything looks good. My question is there a way to clear the "Loc" mode at the radio ?...Otherwise I'm going to hate the idea of having to check continuaty of the harness between the radio control pod to the radio. I visually checked the circuit board on the radio control pod...Everything looks good and clean.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Help with OEM (Delco) Radio

I think the MUTE button is the only choice. I heard the dealer cannot even unlock those radios. If it turns out that your steering wheel "keypad" is damaged, luckily they are pretty easy to get. I see them on Ebay all the time. I think a lot of them got removed from junkyards becasue it's just so easy to pop off the velcro.

Good luck.
