sub box options?

My current setup that the P.O. installed starts at the rear seat back and pretty much takes up the whole hatch. My problem is no place to put the t-tops. Aside from having a custom box made for my 2 - 12's, is there a direct fit box out there that sits low enough to allow for the t-tops to still be strapped in the factory location?
My current box that was made by the p.o.

Re: sub box options?

there are a few things that can make a shallow box a bit of a challenge. 1. speaker depth. you need to check to see deep your sub frame and magnet sit, along with any additional room behind the magnet the manufacturer may require (if vented). 2. air space requirements of the sub. especially when you're running 2 subs, you may end up not having enough internal space for them to be run at their optimum.

however, if you go down to one good sub, you have a bit more room to play with. my last setup consisted of a single 12" type-r and was able to get the box to fit in the lower half of the well while still having the correct internal air space to get good output. trade off - had to build it myself.
