Good deal?

Well my friend is getting rid of his car audio. He is selling me a 12" Kicker sub and box with a 250w MTX amp. He has most the cables, and he is gonna help we wire it all. I am paying 75$ And everything works. Is this a good deal?

Re: Good deal?

Not too bad depending on the age of the kicker. The amp is def low watt if tahts @ peak
But it will get the job done. too much bass is uncool and just ruins music IMO

Yea, I mainly value the fact that he will help me set it up. I have no clue what to do!

Re: Good deal?

$75 is not bad for parts AND the learning experience (a shop would charge you more than that for just the labor). just pay attention and ask questions as you go. may not be a ton of power, but a huge upgrade from just having the factory 4 speakers.
