A single DIN head unit with a .5 DIN EQ stacked?

Has anyone ever done it. Can it be done.

Any pictures?

I am thinking about giving it a try to see how it turns out. I could put the EQ below the head unit. The biggest problem I see is getting them to stack.

Any advice.

Re: A single DIN head unit with a .5 DIN EQ stacked?

Sorry, no pics, but yes, it can be done. I used to have a Kenwood eXcelon head unit with .5 DIN Kenwood EQ which contained my sub output. Just need the correct dash kit to mount them up - you can do it with the EQ on top or bottom. At times, I've just used the mounting tabs in the dash kit for the head unit only and used duct tape to secure the EQ to the deck, cheap, but works in a pinch.
