Factory bose trunk speakers- Do they sound good?

I recently bought those Bose rear trunk deck speakrers that are so rare off ebay. Looks like a nice little piece of equipment, thought the Speakers themselves are tiny! Especially considering most people like to throw 12", 13",14" Sized subwoofers in the back.

For anyone who has one, How is the sound quality on these things? And do you think it would be worth the trouble to wire it up to my car?

Wasted money . Local 3rd gen scrapper wants $500 for the whole thing...

You will always be better off with a aftermarket system and will have alot of money left over in your pocket.

I have bose in my car and I think they sound pretty good for a stock set-up. I added a small sub and amp in the hatch to round out the sound but the bose system isn't that bad by itself. The bose was the top of the line system available for our cars besides the cd player. For what its worth, I wouldn't worry about trying to install the bose system if your car isn't equipped with it from the factory. You would need the complete wire harness and kick panel speakers with amps plus the bose head unit. I would go aftermarket if you're going to spend that kind of money for the bose system.

IIRC the stock bose rears are 5".

HawkTDZ-92z has a write up where he swapped the bose with JL 6.5" subs and a small amp.
