New System

I am working on a new system for my car. I have a new Head unit, JVC KD-SX750. New 6X9's Kenwood 3-Ways. Was thinking about a single sub, a Pioneer 10" Sub, TS-W253C. In a sealed box. Powered by a 4 channel Jensen Amp. Was going to run my 6x9's off this amp and bridge 2 channels for the sub. Just to let you know. I don't have much money. I wanted a bandpass box but it isn't going to fit in the back. Pluse it is to expensive. What do you think, am i going the wrong direction. I do have a Diagram, for what i am going to do. it is in .BMP format. 2 diagrams to be exact. 1 is how i am going to wire it to my 6x9's and sub, the other diagram is how i am going to run the wires in my care. I would love any imput you can give. and any advice. thanx

Make sure you use high quality RCAs from the deck to the amp.

If you wanted bandpass I am sure you want some bass so I would suggest a sealed 12 to account for the 6 db loss when comparing a bandpass to sealed. Image Dynamics makes awesome sealed subs that run with low power. I would look for something other than a Jensen amp. Goto www.crutchfield.com and look at what they have on sale. I would personally get the Infinity thats on sale. And make sure to use twisted pair rca's and run them away from the power wire. Also set the 6x9's to high pass at 80 Hz and the subs low pass at 80 Hz.

Another words your six by nines will play anything from eighty hertz and above and your subs will play anything from eighty hertz and below. Hence High pass filters and low pass filters. The objective is to have all your frequencies covered in the setup of the system!

Ok, i understand. The amp i want has low pass inputs and high pass inputs, now i understand. but it has 2 inputs of each. 2 left, and 2 right for low pass, and same for highpass, only i will only have 4 rca's coming from the head unit. 2R and 2L. so, how do i wire that up? Man i am confused
