Adapter for 6 X 9 speakers
I have a 1986 Pontiac Trans Am with the old Monsoon speaker system. I would like to put 6 X 9's in the back , is there an adapter available?

if so, just build one, its not hard, this is a picture of a Hertz 8" in the sails with a custom built plate to mount it, simple and sealed

He might be speaking of the optional rear cargo deck extension lid with those tiny square speakers to replace with the 6x9's
