Hey. That's cool. I always like meeting fellow MECP certified installers.I've been in this profession for nine years and still learn new stuff almost everyday. I have my First class certificate, Autosound specialist, and Security specialist certificates.I'll be going for my Master's in a few weeks.Should've had it a long time ago, but just never took the time to take the test. Anyways, it's always cool to know another installer and F-body enthusiast to throw around some bad@$$ ideas.

Just outta curiosity, since your a fellow 12-volt installer, what'cha jammin' in your ride?
I had a T/A with three Orion 12" subs, Eclipse 6 1/2" components in custom door pods,Eclipse 6x9's for the rear, an Orion 2100 HCCA running the subs, and two Orion 275 HCCA running the mids and highs. But in my new RS, I'm working on a system for four 12"s. I just finished building a box for my brother's 89 RS for three Alpine 12"s. Sounds good, but he needs more power. He has an Alpine 5-channel V-12 running the three subs and all his mids and highs. He should be able to crank out a few more db's with a bigger amp to run the subs alone.
Anyway, I have some pictures of work that I've done to my previous F-bodies if you'd like to check 'em out and get some ideas.E-mail me at jakeever@yahoo.com and I'll send you some.

Congrats dude! I was going to go for my 1st class certification, but since I only do this as a hobby now I didn't seem to get around to it. It's nice to at least be MECP certified though. It makes getting a job a lot easier.

jim, i thought u knew i had my cert from NE. anyway, i'm not really pushing much in my car cept for a head, 4x6's, planet audio amp, comp. 6x9's and full 3way x-over, the car is wired completly with stinger, and can put out enuff power for my house, and a few others maybe! i dont have the sub set up yet cuz cash is tight, really tight. but when i have it i'm runnin 2 audiobahn high excursion10's and an audiobahn 1800w classD amp, along with Planet Audio components in the front(custom panels) and new PA amp for them too.
