Just an idea in my head
I got some nice gauge aluminum that Im thinking about bending to follow the lines of my dash from the ash tray (which I would be covering) all the way up to the vents. I would box in this area just below the vents and putting my after market gauges in. I think I could make it look quite seamless. This would also allow me to install a single din radio without the ugly adapter kits they have on the market. If I get it looking nice I could make it out of reinforced fiber glass for a little nicer look. I saw someone on here sprayed something over their panel that gave it a factory texture look and I was wondering what that product was and if anyone has any thoughts on my Idea. I understand it might be a bit hard to imagion without pictures.

I would make a cut out for them. I have not investigated how easy it would be to move them up or down from their current location yet
