How can I fit this into my Trans Am? I picked it up earlier this month. It was on clearance, I couldn't resist!!

Being 15" x 14" x 33", that's not going to just slide into the rear well. you have 2 choices at that point, put it up on top of the gas tank hump behind the rear seats, or fold down the rear seats (or remove the rear seats) and put it there. 3rd gens really need either custom fit boxes or single sub boxes that are much smaller. You pretty much wont find a pre-fab dual sub box that will fit in the rear well easily.Originally Posted by SixSeriesCSi

Doesn't seem to fit on top of the gas tank hump behind the rear seats.
I was really hoping it would...

Hell Yeah, my HU Flush Mount came in!!
It should match with my White LED Gauge Cluster quite nicely...
(Thirdgen Specific Lettering, of course)

These are the speakers I am going with:
Kenwood KFC-6984PS
Kenwood KFC-1094PS
Where can I get a bracket to mount my rear speakers in the sail panel?

dont get what you are asking, 6x9 is stock for rear for most unless you have "performance sound". 4in into front 4x6 opening?

I don't want to use the Stock 6X9 Mounting Bracket, is there an Aftermarket Choice?

Anyone?

Not that I have ever seen... either have to fab up your own or just use the stock ones. I went the other route and put 6.5" components in and used a piece of 3/4" plywood to mount them (dont ask, had tons of vibration issues)

my speakers came with extender rings, if you are looking for extra support, that helps. not real sure what you are after?

Thanks, How did those work out for you? Where they a direct fit?
Supreme Member
i didnt use those directly, my 6x9s came with a similar deal. they work to avoid vibration if you put a seal or foam between them. if you make a plywood or mdf one it may work a bit better though

Connectors for Front Speakers?
Supreme Member
i always run new wire for the speakers. and use what ever lug the speaker requires. and solder it to the hu pigtail or run it all the way to the amp. the stock wiring is small and thirdgens are getting old, that means it doesnt even have as good connections as stock. the more resistance/poor connections) the poorer the signal transfer

Update:
Driver's Side Speaker Does Fit!!!
I think the Speaker Connector was Obstructing the Fitment.
I've been driving around with the dash unattached and elevated by about an inch and a half for about six months!
