Anyone have the Alpine 1.5 DIN?

CDA-855? Is it any good? I've never owned an Alpine so I'm not familiar with their stuff. Thanks.

Alpine makes top-notch stuff. I have older Alpine head units in both my cars and love them. My only problem with the newer Alpine's, is the look. They are targeted to a younger group. When I finally find one that is more plain looking, I'll be getting a new one. Maybe next year's models will suit my taste a bit more?? I hope!!

The unit you are talking about actually doen't look bad, but I still think I'll wait!

Well, since I'm just a punk 19 yr old, I guess its my destiny to buy it then. It looks cooler than the Pioneer 1.5 DIN's, and it is more than likely higher quality. I wish more companies would make a 1.5 DIN head unit.

Yep, I've got that deck. Expensive, but I love it. Looks great in my 86 Z28.
