Recomendations for front a rear speakers..

What do you guys recommend for those, i'm not looking for super bass or anything just something that sounds good without an amp (if it's possible). Well anyway tell me what you think.

I've heard alot of 4x6's and 6x9's, for use without an amp, I suggest infinity, pioneer, and kenwood. If your going to hook an amp up to them in the future, go with again, infinity, or kicker or rockford fosgate.

Thats my opinion only of course though.

I've always used Blaupankt 4x6's due to them being descent sounding speaker, good price & over most of the other speakers, more efficient so they don't need as much power to be as loud. I'm sure alot of people don't like them though. I've always favoured Kenwood for the 6x9's though, but I think this time around I may lean towerds a pair of Polk,, but that's not for awhile.

Well, no matter what you buy, you'll never get good bass from the dash speakers. Its just too small of a location. How much power does your deck produce? Kappas are nice, but need alot of power to sound good. Pioneers are good choices.

With or without an amp, for the $$ I love my Boston Acoustics. I got 4x6 plates for $120 and 3 way 6x9s for $200. They're also very durable and can take a lot of power, according to people around here.

I had Infinity reference fronts for 3 months until the speaker cones actually cracked. I wouldn't buy the new references, even though they do sound nice. But I still like the Bostons better.
