Now that's wierd...

Ok, just wired up my head unit & amp....
With the car off, everything works fine...
Once I start the car, the amp no longer recieves power. (power light is off)

The head unit will come on just fine.

System..
Alpine head unit with Cd-changer
Sony 6X9 in sail panels.
Sony 4" in dash.
Audiovox (Yes audiovox) 4 ch 200W amp.

I know I should get a better amp but this is all I have right now.
The amp is wired directly to the battery and grounded in the rear hatch area.

Could this be a ground problem???

Check the remote or amp turn on wire comming off the deck at the amp and at the deck to make sure its showing 12v.

Ok. I'll check that tomorrow once I get the valve covers back on. It works fine with the car off so I have to start it to check.
Thanx.
