i think i have decide to deck my car out with stereo stuff. i'm going to save up money and get everything custom, anyone have any ideas, i'm thinking about 3 12's or maybe 2. i'm not sure, where can i mount a crossovers, amps, strike caps, and everything, anyone have pictures or ideas, please let me know. thanks alot

also i have a ok pioneer reciver that i will be using for a while, but what other speakers and amp combos would sound the best, i'm thinking of starting going to sound off comps.

 

To give you some ideas, here was my old system. I took just about everything out because it weighed too much and there was no place to put my t-tops when out.

Hey,it's me,Jeff in Round Rock.If you want,we can build a system in your ride like the one I built in my brother's RS with the three 12's. I can probably get you a good deal on some 12's and amps if you stop by the shop.We have layaway plans if needed. Anyway,let me know when you come by the shop again and I'll bring some pictures of my T/A I used to have with three 12's.It's set-up almost the same as my brother's that you saw the other day. And I'll show you the four 12's that I'm building for my RS. Laters.

 

Justin, that looks fantastic! That's really similar to how mine will be done if I ever actually get around to finishing it.

Thanks Jim. But damn, it just was too heavy. The box and 2 10s weighed 75 pounds! Plus there was no place to put my t-tops when they were out. Plus no way to hide what i had. Used to throw a piece of carpet over them when i parked. That got old real fast, so out it came.
