UQ7 Subwoofer box dimentions

Hey guys I'm working on converting my audio system back to factory...my car had the RPO UQ7 system but there are 6x9's in the sail panels...does anyone have a set of UQ7 sub boxes not installed and could take some measurements (in Inches) so I can build me a set?...here are the dimensions I need...Thanks!

Re: UQ7 Subwoofer box dimentions

the first pic, 7 3/8 bolt holes center to center. plate is 9 5/8ths tall. lower part of box starts at 6 wide and necks down to 4 1/4 and is 8 7/8 from the bottom of the face plate.

the second pic 4 3/8s by 11 1/4.

i only keep the boxes around to show people the high tech stuff the car had for the 80's, but its much better with aftermarket 6x9s. the sail covers cover it either way so no sense in spending the time and effort on the stock stuff.

Cool Thanks!...was looking to buy a set of boxes but when I saw that box on ebay for $70 I thought forget that...I have a supply of recycled Lexan poycarbonate sheet and for the price of my time and a tube of Weld-On #16 I'll just build myself some.

Re: UQ7 Subwoofer box dimentions

the part that isnt worth bothering with is the stock size speakers, if you do get ahold of decent 5 1/4 woofers they are way more expensive and dont sound as good some 6x9s
