Holy CRAP!!!! The Massive System of all Systems is finished!!!!

This system is unbelieveably loud and hits so freaking hard that it can shoot out my heart out my a$$hole. They had the SPL mic there at the stereo shop at SPLed my car. You guys won't even believe what this monster hit at: 161.8 db. Here is the weirdest thing I gained 3db when the windows were down and the T-tops were off, that is really weird to me. Anyways when I clean up the car tomorrow I will take pictures of this monster system and post them on my web site and post a reply to this thread of the address so you guys can see this install. It is so sweet and awesome.
This is what was installed:
1) 2 Aura 4150Q 600watt RMS amps
2) Rockford Fosgate 500a4 amp
3) Rockford Fosgate Fanatic Q 5.25" component speakers
4) 4 Rockford Fosgate HE212 12" Subwoofers
5) 1 Fared Capacitor w/ voltage display
6) 1 Optima Yellow top dry cell battery
This system is just unreal. I love it to death and I can't wait to compete w/ it. Everyone in my area better watch out for me at the DB Drags & Sound Quality events. All the subs are firing downwards and yes I took out the rear seats. I can't wait to show you guys what it looks like. Later

The mic was placed on the furthest end of the dash closest to the front windshield. Basically almost on top of the defrost vents for the windshield. I had those crappy 4x6's disconnected which I can't even tell they are gone, DARN!!!!!!
Isn't that where they are supposed to place the mic, I was just curious.

Does that guy have any SPL ratings on his sytem. His construction and attention to tricked out detail is much better than mine but I bet you money that mine hits harder though b/c all 4 12"'s are firing downwards. I'll post pics tomorrow. Later

What I was wondering if there is a break in period for subwoofers like an exhaust and an engine and stuff like that? Will I be able to get harder bas hits and stuff the more I crank the system? Thanx

You noticed a little harder hits but thats it. It's not like I was going to be dumb enough to sit in the car while this was playing, that would be asking for a death wish. I'll have to post pics tomorrow b/c the weather was horribly cold so I didn't have a chance to wash it or vaccuum it. Sorry for the delay but that digital camera is just itching it be used again. Later

The Rockford subs that I've installed come with a printed sheet that says they'll play to their full potential after a few hours of loud continuous use. It doesn't say whether they'll sound better, or louder, or both.
