i got my clarion head unit stolen on saturday the 22nd a perfect christams for me....

now i am looking to replace it soon.. i have two ten inch subs on the way thinking of using alpine type R's and i want to switch to an alpine deck, to match and everything... what alpine deck is good and how much do you think i will spend on a deck? do you guys like the alpine type R subs? thanks guys all welcome to answer..

 

i'm liking my 12" dvc type-r very much. pounds very nicely, and i havent come anywhere close to pushing even its 300 watt rms rating. working on breaking it in right now, so i'll be able to tell ya more in a few days. highly recommended, great sub for the price

 

good i will be buying the 2 type R 10's in a few months but am wonderign about decks and prices if anyone could help me out.. is alpine that good of a deck my room mate told me 449.99 for an alpine model number 785? ... tell me if that sounds right..

Your Room mate is WAY off! The 2001 model lineup from Alpine with those three model numbers are CDE-7859 and CDE-7856. The "suggested retail price" on those models are $250.00 and $200.00. Go Alpne, I love mine. Here's their websiteAlpine

 

that little homo.. i am going to kick his ***.. he works at a stereo shop up here in phoenix and i know he likes to rip people off if they dont call him on it.. i was reading a post about some alpne decks and i liked there lay out and some of the features that were being talked about so now i want one...

My friend has his custom boxs and **** stolen from his car, two weeks later, he's crusin ebay and calls me up yelling, I find the item and their are his boxs and speakers, the whole 9 yards on ebay.

Anywayz, he placed a bid and asked if he could pick the item up since the guy lived in hampton, across the bay and we called the cops. Got his stuff though, was on TV this guy was selling over 1000 dollars worth of stolen goods on ebay.

 

just commenting on the type-r's again (*** i love em). hooked my dvc up to my mtx 752pro bridged into 2 ohms. my nose hair was vibrating it was so good. now i gotta go looking for all the new places that rattle. found a new one somewhere under the car...
