Amp under Glass

I am thinking of building a custom enclosure with plexiglass to hold my amp. I have a Rockford 800a2 and am concerned that it might get kinda hot. Does it need to be completely ventallated? Will it work fine in a small enclosure built for it? Thanx

Try not to use anything electrical around the amp, especially near the RCA cables. It created a whine in my cousins ride. Even filters would'nt remove it. It will get hot, so keep it vented.
