I've got the Pioneer DEH-77DH deck that has the adjustable subwoofer settings, the sub output phase can be switched from 0 deg. to reverse 180 deg. What does this mean? I think it sounds better in reverse so thats where I have it set. I'm still learning all this stuff( crossover points, slopes,Q factors, etc.) so any help appreciated!!

Sound waves travel slowly. Since most people put there subs in the trunk, it takes some time for the wave to reach you. If you put the subs 180deg out of phase, the idea is that by the time the wave reaches you, it will be in phase with you speakers up front, or so they claim.
