Do Polk EX II Speakers suck? Please say no
Do Polk EX II Speakers suck? Please say no
I told my mom to get (for x-mas) the best speakers she could find that would fit in my car and I got Polk Audio EX II 4x6 and 6x9 and they sound 15 times better than the stock ones. Are these speakers decent? They sound really good and look cool. Will they explode and catch on fire while driving? thanks

I have the EX II tweets added to my Infinity 4x6s and they rock. If you like them, then it means that you have good taste in music quality.

I had the EX 4x6s for a short period of time over the summer. I thought they sounded good. If I had kept them though, I would have fried them behind my amp...they kept bottoming out
Thankfully for me, changing to a Boston plate solved that!
Seriously though, unless you're cranking the hell out of them, they are a great speaker. Enjoy them!
