Which is pos/neg? A or B?? Also, Connections? w/in

Hello all,
I just got a set of Pioneer 6x9 3 ways for the rears, and I need to know 2 simple things:
the factory harness says only A & B - is that A for pos and B for neg??? Seems simple enough! is it right?
Also, how do I determine which is pos and neg off the speaker (no box/instructions.) one is BIG, one terminal Is SMALL.
Any help GREATLY appreciated

Thanks in advance!

If you have the pos/neg reversed from what the front speakers are, they will be out of phase. By leaning back and forth you will only be able to hear either the front or rear speakers because they will be cancelling each other out. When they are in phase, there will be more volume and they will blend front to back.

Just go to a car audio shop and pay $5 for a speaker harness adapter. This way, you won't have to cut up your car's wires, which saves a lot of time and mess. You simply snap this adapter into your factory speaker plugs, and the other end slips onto your new speakers.

On virtually any car speaker, including your Pioneers, the larger terminal is positive and the smaller is negative. If you look at that white cardboard-like piece very closely, the terminals are marked + and -.

Your factory wire colors are this:

Right rear: dark blue-positve
light blue-negative

Left rear: brown-positive
yellow-negative

But still, like I said, go buy one of those speaker harnesses.
