help finding the right dash speakers.

I have tried two coaxial 4X6 speakers in my dash but both stuck up to high and the dash dust cover that goes over the speaker won't go back flush with the dash. They are hiting the speaker.

Can someone tell me where and what kind of speaker I can get that will fit back into the dash flush?

I have a set of Infinity Reference 4x6 plates that when turned the right way, sit flush under the dash. They sound good and don't break the bank either.

Yep i have those same plates in my Camaro. Awesome little speakers for what you pay anyways. They can take all the power a factory deck can throw at them trust me i've tried. My 52Wx4 Xplod deck was no match for em. And recently my Alpine 60Wx4 V-drive deck was able to throw everything they had at it. Just don't use Loud(or anything of similar purpose) without having a high pass filter on them. I had mine cut-off a 80Hz and they never seemed to bottom out. And if you don't want Infinity, Alpine makes a very similar set of plates that also sound superb. And if you want to spend a little extra the Infinity Kappa 462.3cfp are even better then the Reference line of speakers. However the best advice anyone can give ya is make your own decision. Maybe go to your favorite car audio place with a your own little demo disk a try some side by side comparisons. And see if there isn't something that does the trick for you. Anyways have fun.

Loose the dash speakers and get kick panels, They are the best, you can't get crap outta the dash no mater what you buy.
