My Setup

Hey guys,
I want you guys to give me your opinion on my setup. I bought the car with the stock system, and still have its component,s only they are in a box in my garage. I have a Pioneer DEH-P3100 Head Unit linked to Kenwood4x6's in the dash and Pioneer 2 Way 160 Watt 6x9's in the sail panels. Also, I have an Orion Cobalt 150.2 Amp mounted in the well of the trunk to power an Orion XTR3 8 Inch Coupled to a tube about a foot long which is mounted in the trunk. The total output is 180 watts for the head unit and about 300 in bridged mode for the amp (which I is in bridge mode), but it doesn't seem like it puts out as much power as my Sharp Pro Logic Shelf systm in my bedroom (100 watts I might add). Can I use any little upgrades to this setup to make it sound better or just tweak it better? Lemme know, the 4x6's get a lil distorted when I crank it up, but I don't want to use the fader cuz its half the power right there out the window. I used bass blockers on the 6x9s cuz they are on the same output as the amp, cuz the preout on the head unit is the same as the rear channel on the head unit. So even if I turn the bass down all the way on the head unit, I get good bass in the sub, but distortion on the little speakers NO MATTER WHAT, any good ideas what can stop the distortion, I love the sub, even though its small, I just want to tweak it, my family says it sounds like crap. Take a look at the pic below

do you have bass blockers on your 4x6s? if not that is the first step. 300hz or so, I'd also take off the bass blockers on the 6x9s and wired them up to the head unit.
