Help Quick Please!

Help, I'm hooking up a friends Soundstream 700SX to his Kappa 12.1, and I need to know how to bridge it to mono. It didn't come with a book. Do I hook up L-, and R+, or the other way around?
We're in the process of connecting it now
PLEASE HELP QUICK!!!!!!
Thanks alot,
Jeff

Doesn't the sub have a "BRIDGE" with arrows pointing to the correct posts? I'd try it the other way around R = - and L = +. Details are always welcome though...is the sub DVC? Stereo amp? Four channel? Sometimes we can spot something you missed that could save time and trouble.

Hope this helps,
Matt

Thanks, Flash,
I know, usually amps are marked, this one isn't. Just a regular 4 ohm 12.1. , and the Amp is a 2 channel "bridgeable" amp.
Thanks

There might be a switch to set the amp to run in bridged mode as well...look around for one.....if not...just fiddle with the channels. If it's bridgeable...one of the combos should work ;-)

Thanks guys,
Got it working. It was R+, L-; the other way around wasn't nearly as loud.

Hi 87,
no, its just a single 4 ohm voice coil. It's in a truck, and I'm surprised in the difference in bass without that "cabin gain".
I'm running 2- 8" tubes and 1 JBL600.1 in my car with about 4 times the amount of bass.
