wanting to drop in subs
i got a kenwood excelon deck, and 2, 10in JL's i just need to build a box for em. im just wondering if you can build a box that sounds good, and will still allow me to use my t-top bag. anyone that has t-tops and subs in their camaro please tell me what you do, im kinda clueless. also got a 450 watt amp to push the 10's. thanks for any help

There's more than one way around this. In my case, my box sticks up higher than the flat part of the 'trunk', so after I finish it, I'll have a flush-mounted stereo with the t-top brackets relocated up higher, so it will still work as it did originally. You can also try to fit the box low enough so that it won't interfere, but you'll still have to deal with amps that could be in the way.

Easily done, I have two 12" Sony X-plod's built into a box that sits just slightly lower than the top of the gas tank hump. On the advice of another ThirdGen genius, I installed my amp in the back of my back seat. It's a clean install that leaves lots of room for T-tops and passengers.
