Hey pukka,

I have a dsp 7200 with a p56 deck right now. Im planning on upgrading to a p98R. To make the long story short, the P56 has 500 mV output, the dsp has a 1.5 v output. My new p98r has 4 volt output. What happens when i put a 4v volt input signal into that dsp?

Im sure i now but i hate to lose that cool display.

As long as you are using RCA inputs you should be fine. Check the owners manual for the input voltage range on the DSP. I'll take a look at mine if I can find it and let you know.

I would think that the high voltage would mean that you would have to keep the volume lower on the source unit so that you don't distort or overdrive the DSP.
