I just bought a Kenwood KGC-6042 EQ off ebay and recoved it today and im very pissed every time i go to hook it up so it will get power it will not power up at all any ideas how to get this to work since im sure the ******* who sold it to me wont return it. Please help me and i spend 130 bux for it too so im ticked off

 

Well i opend it up and on the circut board 2 copper wires that run around on it are ****ed up any way i can get this to work cuz i dont wana be out 130 bux and it smells burnt

 

Let me guess. No warranty? Sold as-is? If it smells burnt and it's not powering up, there's a good chance that it's FUBAR and you're going to be **** out of luck. Sorry to hear about that dude.

Well, you may be somewhat in luck. Ebay insures the items up to $250, minus a $25 deductable. Since it was advertized as working and it's not, you can fill out the ebay form and most likely get back most of what you paid for it.

Ya i saw that I emaild him ill see what he says if not ill report it to ebay but in the mean time i want a EQ i went out bought monster cable and everything and wanted todo a good job and was all pumped then it didnt work i ended up jsut doin a crappy job putting everything back in=( Like for the past 2 weeks this was all i was thinkign about andi got it today and i was all ya i can get me some more hunnys but no its brokend dammit im sooo ****en pissed why do poeple have to lie to make a meisley 100 bucks that i worked frekin hard for

 

sorry about your luck. I once bought 2 JL 10's that I thought were W6's, hell if I knew the appearance difference back then, and when I got home and saw it said W0 i was ****ing pissed. Thats why If i buy something off someone, I hear it play/work and check model numbers before I hand over the cash.

I dont know if you really want a Pioneer EQ or not, but I have two EQs that I don't use anymore. I have a 10 band Prestige with dual ilumination, sub control etc, and a radio shack model with almost the same features.
