MTX 8000

I have two 10" MTX 8000s does anyone know if these speakers are stable at 2 ohms i would like to bridge my rockford 500.2 but i dont want to damage any components

If you run the amp at a 2 ohm load, each speaker will only see 4 ohms each.. You can't get a 1 ohm load off of only 2 SVC subs unless they are 2 ohm speakers. The ones you have are probably 4 ohm speakers, make sure you check that.

If they are both 4 ohms, you will be fine running that rockford amp bridged at 2 ohms...

Yea the subs are 4 ohm each. Thanks for the response. What kind of power will the rockford make bridged at 2 ohm
