What is a recomended amp for one infinity perfect 10" sub, they hold 1400 watts max. i want something under $400, but will make the sub hit really hard, thanks.

those subs are really 'power' hungry. I would definately go with something quality. Maybe PPI, Rockford, or mTx. For $400 you can definately pound the hell out of that sub.

why didnt you get two 10"s? just out of curiousity..

my original plan was to get three 12's, but then i thought, i'm probley getting a brand new car when i get out of high school, and drop a 454 in this car, and race it, so i will have no need for a stereo then, so i want something,that hits hard, and is easliey transforded into my new car when i get it, and one sub, is much cheaper, haha.

Do the amp I'm selling...Eclipse 33230. Its 400x1 at 4 ohm bridged. Never heard it behind a sub in a third gen, but its a real stong amp.

 

how much can do those eclispe amps cost?
