Has any one actually head 2 mtx 8000 12in subs
I am sure you guys have but I haven't been able to find any real feed back on how they sound. I bought a couple of them and a power acoustic amp and I am going to be hooking them up soon. I was wondering what I have to look foward to, or what not to look foward too. How is the bass on these things.

Well, I couldnt say anything about mtx 12's, but I have MTX 7000 10's which are the same specs as the 8000's but just a different design and personally I love the way they sound, they give really nice pounding bass, I'm switching to 2 JL audio 12's, but this is only beacuse the system I have in my car is the first one ive had and I want to put my stereo in the hatch compartment istead of the backseat, and get 2 12's instead of 10's.. I wanted to try something different and also didn't want to spend $170+ on each subwoofer for the MTX's, my money was limited and my intrested in spending more and more on my stereo is getting lower =)
I think you'll be pretty happy with the performance of MTX, I was.
