Amp Fried?
still can't get it to work. Do I have to unhook the battery then hook the amp up then reconnect the battery? Does anyone have a guide or know how the power wires hook up. Please dont laugh, I am really stupid at this stuff and the guy who owned the car before me really screwed it up.

The amp should be marked. A + is the positive wire (wire from battery). A - is the ground (wire connected to chassis). There will be a third terminal, remote. If your amp is hooked up, power in the remote wire will turn the amp on.
If everything is hooked up, then either the amp's internal fuse is blown or the amp is dead.
