I just wana know what i could maybe do. It sounds clean and tight, but i want to know db guesses.

Klayburn, PPI amps are probably the best amps made.. They are very high end stuff and it wouldn't surprise me if his 1 12" sub and ppi amp would out perform alot of dual 12" setups here...
Unfortunatly, i don't know a whole lot about the dei studio subs...

I would have to put a guess at about 133-135 in a dash mounted mic test. But that would be pushing it. Nice and clean sub install tho.

thanks, all i had to do was cut the box carpet the same as the factory stuff, and the factory carpet is still there for deadening. The box is 1 perfect cubic foot.
A little info on the dei. Ever heard of directed amps. 1100d? Beautiful amp. anyway, dei makes viper and sidewinder and just bought clifford too. Their competition subs handle 600 watts, without any problems whatsoever. The ppi 2400 is at about 75% gain, and bridged to one ohm. The dei takes it like a champ with very little distortion. I originally designed the box for the infinity kapa perfect aluminum cone 12. but my parents aftermarket shop never made the 1500 dollar minimum reorder from infinity since they were selling the business. the box is so tight that it wont go in with the sub in, cuz the hatch motor fits in the hole as it slides in. Then, i had to cut part of the rear plastic peice so that it would slide in too, but you cant even see it. the box's use is very limited since its small, and any sub with a magnet diameter larger than 6 and deeper than 6.5 wouldnt fit. only 3 subs. jl-w3, dei-studio, infinity kapa perfect. I still want the perfect, and think i could do 140 with it.
if anybody wants diagrams etc. or pics of the box out of the car, email me.
135? i gotta get metered.

hey snflupigus, I would like to see some pics of that box, just post them here. I have two 12" perfects and I love the way it sounds. I have that custom box that Crutchfield sells and the space isn't quite at 1 cubic foot, but It still pounds hard!

i dont know if the pics are working or not. if not, right click and copy properties of location into the address bar and you will see it. i think tripod blocked direct linking of pics or something. sometimes they show, sometimes they dont.
