Those head units are only control units. The c4 corvettes have a hidden amplifier/ tuner even for the non-Bose systems referred to as the cdm. The cdm is what powers speakers and makes the head unit work. In that case of the picture Bose unit, the cdm then sends a signal to the four individual amps mounted by each speaker.
Those C4 Bose radios only work if you have the speaker/amp combos to go with them. May possibly work on a Camaro with the factory Bose system, but those cars are rare, and I can't make any guarantees.
