84 Trans Am with uq7
I have an 84 Trans Am with the UQ7 and I need to replace the speakers , the 5 inch subwoofers are shot. I was going to replace the foam rings, but one of them has an ohm reading of 2.4K ohms and the other is 10 ohms.
I have pulled the front and rear speakers , the fronts are around 8 ohms and the rears are around 4 ohms. Can anyone confirm that this is correct?
The front and rear 4x6 speakers have different part numbers stamped on them.

You can get some good info from this thread about the UQ7 set-up. I think it's mostly the 85+ cars,.. but some of the info might help !
