Replace head unit

So my head unit isn’t putting out sound to half of the speakers and I was told this is common. I was thinking about putting in a modern head unit but didn’t know where to start. Any existing threads or how tos?

Re: Replace head unit

If you got aftermarket you'll probably want to get some new speakers too. Most aftermarket radios are made to be used with 4 OHM speakers. Your factory Rear speakers *might* be 4-OHM,... but the fronts will almost certainly be 10 OHM and not well-matched for an aftermarket head unit.
