Wanting to install the Monsoon head unit in my 92 T/A vert and was wondering if anyone had the output specs on the Monsoon head unit? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

500 is with the separate amplifier that is located in the rear. not sure what the head unit itself is rated at itself.

whatever the fuse for the amp is, multiply that by 13.8 volts and that is the maximum possible output. for example if there is a 20 amp fuse max. output would be 276 watts. that would be a very distorted 276 watts. everybody overrates there ****, unless your buying high end audio equiptment...

The monsoon headunit is nothing special... there's absolutely no reason to even consider it... it probably puts out something in the ballpark of 15 watts RMS... or possiblly as low as what 1991CamaroRslow says... but I think it's a bit higher...
the 'monsoon' headunit has absolutely nothing to do with the Monsoon soundsystem, as a whole...
