Info: Amps in seat-backs
Well, subject pretty much says it all. I'm talkin about building an amp into the back of the fold-down seats in a thirdgen.
I know its definitely possible and everything, but i'm wondering if anyone has first hand experience w/ an attempt, a success, or pics of an install. ANY info would be appreciated

I don't have any pics available, but it's pretty simple. I took out my back seat and had an upholstry place re-sew the covering fabric. You want to be able to access the amp, so I had two new zippers sewn in up either side of the seat. While that was being done, I cut the plastic frame of the seat and made a mounting bracket which I riveted to the plastic. I ran the wires, had the seat covered again, and the install was done. Admrlam gave me most of the advice and the idea to start with. He had some nice pics on his site.
