alright would 12in subs fit in the back of my thirdgen camaro, and is three going overboard? Or should two be good enough? I was looking into shiva subs, thanks.

 

good choice on the shivas. two should be more then sufficient. try out one first actually. i went this route and decided that one was more than enough. you can fit two in the well area with a custom box. put a good amp on those suckers and you'll be poundin some beautiful tunes.

 

I agree a friend of mine has one 12 and man it sounds great. If you had a custome box made with 2 of them...man it would be beautiful. I would say look into one of try to listen to someone's with one then ask yourself if you really need two. A custome box is a pain in the but!!!! Its up to you, good choice on the subs!

 

i agree. a custom box is a pain to build or unless you know how to build one. i got this box from an audio store and it was cheap. its just a plain camaro firebird box but it holds 2 15s. this box would be the easy way to go as they come in 10s, 12s and 15s, and you can get these boxes just about anywhere. excellent choice on the speakers you have chosen.

 

man ive got 2 rockford 12's and a ppi amp it pushes 141 db...that plenty for cruisein'
