Battery posts

88 IROC Z here. I always had a battery that had side and top posts. This allowed me to use the top posts for the stereo and alarm power connections. It's hard to find batteries like that these days. I guess I can use those side post extenders but, I got thinking maybe some of you guys have come up with some cool ways of doing this or, know of a great side terminal type thing as opposed to those standard extenders like these.
Amazon Amazon

What do you guys have?

Re: Battery posts

I just ordered a similar item from Amazon earlier today. A ground wire was stripped and just wrapped around the negative terminal bolt. These extenders will be a nice way to correct bubba wiring.

Re: Battery posts

Hope they work out for you. The threads were to small and would not tighten up enough. Felt like I had stripped them. Had to use Dorman 60310

Re: Battery posts

Thanks for the tip on the batteries. How about any distribution or terminal blocks that accept multiple gauge wires?

Re: Battery posts

I just bought extended side post bolts so you can connect more terminals to the side battery, It's one of the better solutions

I took this one from a late 90s S10.
