Adaptors

I just picked up a Pioneer P-77 DEH
1.5 DIN Head unit. I was wondering if
someone made an adaptor that would connect
the stock wiring harness to the connector
on the back of the unit ?

Where could I get one of these ?

I believe Pioneer makes one that adapts the stock wireing to the head unit. Check at your local pioneer dealer.

I don't think anyone makes a wiring harness that plugs directly into the back of the HU and directly into the stock Camaro harness. If anyone did it would be Pioneer.

However, a wiring harness that plugs directly into the stock Camaro harness and is wired (spliced) into the Pioneer harness (that plugs into the Pioneer HU) is very easily obtainable. Any stero shop or places like Walmart or a auto parts store would carry this harness.

By the way, you should never cut off the stock Camaro harness to wire in a new HU. Use a harness like the professionals do.
