Most of the articles I've read on here seem to discuss only the bezel issue. I am attempting to install a Sony XAVV10BT (6.2" Screen). Are there any console modifications needed to install a double din? The unit does not seem to want to seat at the rear of the center console. I can't be sure what needs cut, if anything before I fabricate brackets. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Usually the support brace between the sides of the console needs to be cut/removed for a Double Din to fit.
I also had an issue with the ducts glued to the insides. There a bit tall/oversized for the two ducts coming from the dash. I sectioned about 1/2" from each.
