speaker wires
on my 89 rs are the speaker wires with the stripe positive or negative?

Here's my guess to the answer ....
If the speaker wires have stripes then somebody replaced them and you don't really know without looking at how they are wired.
From the factory:
Front Left (+) = Tan
Front Left (-) = Gray
Front Right (+) = Light Green
Front Left (-) = Dark Green
Rear Left (+) = Brown
Rear Left (-) = Yellow
Rear Right (+) = Dark Blue
Rear Right (-) = Light Blue
If the speaker wires have stripes then somebody replaced them and you don't really know without looking at how they are wired.
