4th gen stereo help again

I have a question about the stereo of a 95 ta. The existing stereo is a cassette. Would it be easy to put a factory cd player in it if i could find one? Would the plugs match up in the back of them? And finally, would I be able take a monsoon cd player and put it in there? I know that is a lot more powerful than the regular one, but would that wire right up with no problem? Is the amp built into the cd player? Finally, would i be able to use a monsoon cd player with my controls on the steering wheel? Thanks.

I speak from experience. The monsoon is nothing to get hot and bothered over. I just spent all weekend pulling it out of my 2000 formula.

I'm sure any oem cd player will work. A monsoon cd player probably will work. It has the same front / back speaker outputs as other delcos. Only difference is that the speaker leads "split" into 2 and one set runs to the amp to power the mids, while the cd player powers the tweeters. Unles you want one for oem looks, I'd get an aftermarket cd player. Like I said in the other post, there are adapters to retain steering wheel control.
