Infinity Subs sound quality

I just purchased a pair of the Infinity Perfect 12" subs. I was wondering if anyone here has a set of these subs, and how good they sound. Thanks.

I have the exact same setup in my car. Two 12" perfects, and let me tell you, they sound sweet!! They will also find every loose bolt and screw in your car! So be prepared, and good luck.

Those subs definately sound sweet! I had the same setup too, last summer, 2 12's with 2 mono amps powering them. Those subs definately hit hard! And as for clarity, for as hard as they hit, it's just as clear. Then some stupid mother ****er had to go and steal them out of my car, while I was at work. Someone saw hit doing it, and he had an 8 year old with him, and the kid was in the passenger seat, while he was taking my deck, and was helping him carry the box into his car. I wish the kid who saw him woulda told me faster, so I could of gone outside and whopped his @$$, but by the time I got out, it was too late, and they never find him. ****!!!!!
Sorry, just had to let that out.

I heard that some times these subs like to blow early in there life. Such as if you start poounding the subs to early they blow. And since supercharged is my bud I woudn't want him to destroy his subs so early. It would be a bummer. Is there any truth to this crazy rumour i heard.

When you get them, because they have aluminum cones they do have a break in period.. For the first 3 hours you run the subs, keep the volume at about half of what your going to listen to it at.. After that then you can pound them as hard as you want...

I've given each sub 800 rms before for about a half hour each and have never had a problem... They sound SWEET too... Make sure you have the right sized box though...

I've had mine for half a year already and I haven't noticed any problems yet. And even if they do blow they have a three year warrenty if installed by an authorized Infinity dealer.

im interested in these subs, how much space is needed for a 12" to pound good? it was either 2 12" perfects, or 2 12" rockford he2s.

Infinity subs kick a$$. My cousin has them in his 2001 Nissan altima. They are 2 10". They are great sounding and hit hard. They are the best 10" subs that I have heard. He only has a 500 watt amp connected to them right now, I cant wait to hear them with an even bigger amp. They sound so good that I decided that I'm going to buy a pair of 10" Infintiy's for my TA.

To answer the question of how much space for the 12" speakers refer to the information that came in the box with the subs... and infinity speakers are picky, if you don't have the right size box, they don't sound good. 12's usually require anywhere from 1.0-2.0 cubic feet per sub in a SEALED enclosure, to less than that for a ported enclosure.. please make sure that the perfect 12's get the right size, they are AWESOME SPEAKERS...

The ! ONLY ! bad thing I've EVER heard about the Perfects is problems with the tinsle leads. That problem has supposedly been addressed by Infinity.

stl1994, the perfects are going to require significantly less space to hit hard than the He2's will... Go for infinity!
