I have been trying to install my sterio but

I can't find the accesories wire, I know it is the pink one, but it is just not there, so what else is an acessories hot wire that I can safely spice into without alot of EM niose.

If you mean the wire that turns the deck on when you turn the switch on, use one of those light up circuit testers or a voltage meter and find a block in the fuse panel that is hot only when the ignition switch is on. (There should already be one there for the radio). Run a wire off of that connection and you'll have your accessory lead. I didn't have to do it on my T/A, but I did on my old car, and it worked fine. There was even a spot on the fuse block beside the circuit I wanted to splice into for a female spade terminal which made for a nice, solid connection.

Ok so if I run it from the fuse box, how would I secure the wire in the box where the fuse went would I just sandwich it in there with the fuse??

You could, but I wouldn't recommend it, because it wouldn't be a very solid connection. I didn't realize until i just looked at mine, that our fuse boxes don't have slots to plug in spade terminals. On some cars, they do. First, before you go to too much work, make sure there isn't a yellow or red wire behind the radio to plug into that isn't hooked up to anything else. There is probably an orange one, but I think that runs the dimmer for the back lighting on the deck. If someone put an aftermarket deck in the car before, they could've done a real hack job on it, and you may need to look for a different color of wire. In my experience these wires are almost always red or yellow. Still use the circuit tester to find the right wire. There has to be a wire there somewhere though unless someone took it out on purpose, and I have no idea why anybody would do that. If you still can't find one, go to the fuse panel and find the fuse for the radio, make sure it's the one for the turn-on and not for the memory, because you don't want constant power. Find the wire coming out of the fuse block from that source and splice into it. Good luck. Hopefully that was helpful.

Um, if you used a harness adapter to begin with, you wouldn't be having this problem. Did you already cut your factory plug off?

Orange: Constant
Yellow: Accessory
Black: Ground
Brown: Dimmer (constant 12V+ when lights
are on)
Gray: Illumination (varies with position
of dashboard dimmer)
Pink: Power antenna (I'm pretty sure.)

Also, make sure your Radio, Cigar lighter, and Dome or CTSY fuses are all good before you do any testing.
