Bose speakers
Bose speakers
I was wondering if i could use the Bose speakers for some added bass in my car. I have a Pioneer deck, 4x6s, and 6x9s. What would I have to do to make this happen?

rewire the whole system and use most of the factory bose equipment. Totally not worth it. A cheap powered sub is the easiest answer.

Yeah,
like Iroc said, it would be a lot of work for the limited sound quality you would get out of it. If you want to do it though, here it goes.
If you have an aftermarket CD player with pre-amp outputs, you can run some RCA cables back to the Bose speakers, cut the ends off of the cables and attach the innards (there will be 2 wires in the cable) to the appropriate inputs for the speakers. You will also need a switched power supply and a ground cable as well. If you are really gung-ho about doing this, email mail me privately and I can help you out. I have a little bit of experience with the Bose systems.
