Car: 86 LG4 & 92 TBI Firebird
Engine: The Mighty 305!
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
I had them and didnt like the lack of foot room it left me with. I ended up just using the stock dash locations and selling the q-forms. My feet thanked me for it. Plus, for $200, they are kinda of flimsy.

My kickpanels only take up 3" of foot space, and are hand laid fiberglass. Also cheaper than q-forms. see my link for more info.

Car: 1971 Corvette

i have them in my truck and my fiance has them in her 91. i love them in my truck because there is nowhere else to put 6.5 inch speakers in the front. the q forms are not supposed to accept 6.5 inchers, but i mounted them to the back of the panel as opposed to the front and the fit fine. i'm using focal speakers and they have huge magnets on them so i had to beat the area behind them to get clearance.

they do take up a bit of room in the camaro, but it is worth it. they are not the thickest things around either, if you are competing in iasca, don't bother, but if not, i would go for it or buy the ones from the other guy on here.
