jim, your the expert on this

Hey jim. I bought a alpine cva-1000 from a friend of mine for 500 dollars. It came with the monitor and brain and everything my only problem is there are alot of wires that go to nothing i can see. This is probably why the stereo wont turn on. Where do these wires go? there is one for the parking brake that I wonder if there is even a outlet for. Do you know of anywhere I canget some info on wiring htis up in my iroc?

The parking brake wire is designed so that the monitor will only come out when the parking brake is on. I forget if this needs +12 volts or if it wants to be grounded. Other than that wire, it should only require the usual connections. I'll try to find out what that parking brake wire wants and I'll get back to you as soon as I find out.
