Any opinions on Alpine subs, S- vs. R-Type?

Any opinions on Alpine subs, S- vs. R-Type?
Does anyone know how these two subs compare? Also how would you rate them against a set of Punch Power subs a few years old? I would be looking at the 10" models of Alpine to replace the Rockfords.

I just got the Type R 10" and it sounds great hits low and very clear not sure on the S type, although i have changed my mind and am pretty determined to do all fosgate, if you want i'll sell you mine for $110 and shipping, its only a week and a half old, let me know if you want.
