what subs should I get

I'm looking at getting some 10 or 12 in. subs. I am going to spend somewhere around $100 for each sub. What is the best sounding sub and the best hitting sub?

Check out our new Comp's or Comp VR's from Kicker. The Comp VR's are DVC.New they are selling in Crutchfield for $89 for a 12" Comp. Max power is 150-200 watts each or the DVC Comp VR's are $149, and they can be mounted in a sealed box or ported and max power is 400+ watts each.
Check 'em out.

I just put a JL 12w6 in my car today.
Wired the sub for 6ohms (I have 2 JL 12w6's, didn't want both in the car for space reasons, there is no space. )
and hooked it to my Fosgate 500a2.
Sounds pretty good, nice deep bass.

We decided that Crutchfield does pretty good home work. At first our dealers didn't like sells over the net, then they decided that it really helped their business more than hurt, do to the fact that Crutchfield does the install homework and advertising. All they have to do is beat or match their prices. So we have joined forces again.
